Scott has been practicing bond law since 1999, when he joined Jones Hall. He serves as bond counsel, disclosure counsel and underwriter’s counsel in financings that include:
Lease revenue bonds and certificates of participation
Water, wastewater and other utility revenue bonds
General obligation bonds
Assessment bonds
Mello-Roos special tax bonds
Scott represents school districts, cities, counties, special districts and joint powers authorities throughout California, as well as investment-banking firms. He has extensive experience serving as bond counsel and disclosure counsel on land-secured financings.
Scott is an avid fly fisherman.
