Steve has been practicing bond law since 1979 and joined Jones Hall in 1999. He serves as bond counsel, disclosure counsel and underwriter’s counsel in financings that include:
- Tax allocation bonds
- Multifamily housing revenue bonds
- Lease revenue bonds and certificates of participation
- Utility revenue bonds and certificates of participation
- General obligation bonds
- 501(c)(3) financings
Steve represents cities, counties, successor redevelopment agencies, housing authorities and joint powers authorities throughout California, as well as national and regional investment-banking firms. His practice focuses primarily on work for cities and successor redevelopment agencies, and he also has extensive experience serving as bond counsel on multifamily housing revenue bonds.
Steve lives in San Francisco with his wife, Sylvia. They have three children, one of whom is also an attorney.
