The Story

Jones Hall serves as counsel to the City and County of San Francisco in connection with the formation of the Mello-Roos (special tax) Community Facilities District for the Transbay Transit Center. The Mello-Roos District was formed to provide a source of financing of $1.4 billion for the Transit Center as well as related infrastructure. Jones Hall will also be serving as bond counsel on the Mello-Roos bonds that are anticipated to be issued starting in 2017. Jones Hall also serves as special counsel on an interim financing pursuant to which the City is providing bridge financing to the Authority to ensure the timely construction of the Transbay Transit Center.
