Eorl has been practicing Federal tax law since 2013 and joined Jones Hall in 2016. Eorl serves as bond counsel and special tax counsel in financings that include:

As part of the tax department, Eorl’s practice focuses primarily on bond counsel and special tax counsel work for cities and school districts, and has experience serving as counsel on IRS audits.

Prior to joining Jones Hall, Eorl worked for the Federal government regulating entities under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) and later represented California municipal entities on a wide variety of Federal tax matters.

In his free time, Eorl enjoys collecting and displaying stones from rivers across Northern California. He has shown his artwork in exhibitions at the Asian Art Museum of San Francisco and the National Bonsai Museum in Washington, D.C.
